Hannah Shih joined NYCEEC in July 2026 as a Senior Associate. Her work at NYCEEC includes sourcing and structuring financing for clean energy and energy efficiency projects, developing capital partnerships, and advancing digital and organizational transformation.

Prior to joining NYCEEC, Hannah worked at Nextpower (formerly Nextracker), a global energy company delivering turnkey utility-scale and distributed solar power plants, where she was the first business development hire for its software division. She led sales operations, scaling the vertical from inception to $300 million in annual revenue, and hired and managed the global Software and Services analyst team. Hannah also worked at Calpine evaluating battery storage development assets.

Hannah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
