Echelon Studios – Red Hook, a 246,000-square-foot film and television production facility in Brooklyn, complements its Bushwick counterpart as part of a transformative expansion of New York City’s studio infrastructure. Closed in September 2025, the project secured approximately $68 million in C-PACE financing from CounterpointeSRE to help fund the $195 million overall project cost, contributing to one of the largest C-PACE-supported developments in the city and among the first to fund ground-up construction.
Designed as a fully electric, ultra-low energy building, the Red Hook campus will include four state-of-the-art soundstages alongside production and office space. Incorporating rooftop solar and high-performance systems, the project ensures Local Law 97 compliance through 2050 while supporting New York City’s push to scale sustainable development. Together with the broader Echelon Studios initiative, it highlights how C-PACE can enable large, sustainability-driven projects that expand critical industry infrastructure, create jobs, and strengthen the city’s position as a global center for film and media production.
