Kelli Keenan is the Head of Sustainability for US Commercial Banking at HSBC. In this role she is responsible for executing HSBC Commercial Banking Sustainability’s strategic plan and identifying priorities and targeted outcomes for the US. Kelli works with HSBC’s Commercial Banking clients to develop and deliver sustainable finance solutions to achieve their net zero ambitions and sustainability goals.

Kelli joined HSBC in 2013 as Senior Legal Counsel in its US Legal department supporting the Commercial Bank. While in the Legal department, Kelli spent 5 months in Dubai working on commercial lending and trade finance matters. Prior to her current role, Kelli transitioned from Legal to the Commercial Bank as Head of Lending Product. In this role, Kelli led the development and management of the Commercial Bank’s lending products, including its sustainable finance product suite. Prior to moving to HSBC, Kelli was a practicing finance attorney at NYC based law firms.

Kelli is a native of the New York area and graduated from Villanova University School of Law, JD, magna cum laude, and Villanova University, BA, magna cum laude.
