Apara Janardhanan is a Director on NYCEEC’s Legal team,  supporting the company’s work on a variety of matters.

Apara has extensive experience in a wide range of legal and operational roles.  Prior to joining NYCEEC, Apara worked as a business representative at a labor union, practiced administrative law and litigation and, most recently, served in a range of roles with the City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services including as a contract specialist, director of vendor management, a real estate and procurement attorney, and supervising attorney overseeing procurement and operations.

Apara holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School, and a BA in English literature from Rutgers University.  She is admitted to practice in New York State.
