Sarfraz Ahmed joined NYCEEC as an Associate in September 2023. His work at NYCEEC supports business development, grants management, PACE administration, and other priorities across the organization.

Prior to joining NYCEEC, Sarfraz worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley in the M&A Team with a focus on Shareholder Activism and Corporate Defense, where he helped advise public company clients and boards of directors on shareholder activism and hostile takeover defense. Previously, Sarfraz worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in the Subscription Finance Group, where he originated structured credit facilities for private equity funds and other asset managers.

Sarfraz holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
